Al-Hayat Zakat, Sadaqah and Waqf Foundation is an Islamic charitable organization based in Nigeria. We are committed to supporting individuals and communities in need through various humanitarian and social welfare initiatives. Our cooperative society offers interest-free loans and we manage Zakat, Sadaqah, and Waqf programs in accordance with Islamic principles to assist the less privileged.
Our mission is to empower the underprivileged by promoting social justice through Islamic values. We strive to alleviate poverty, promote financial inclusion via interest-free loans, and ensure equitable distribution of wealth through Zakat, Sadaqah, and Waqf collection and disbursement.
At Al-Hayat Relief Foundation, we collect and distribute Zakat, Sadaqah, and Waqf to support the less privileged in Nigeria. Through this program, we provide food, education, healthcare, and more — all in line with Islamic values.
Zakat is a compulsory charity (2.5% of wealth) given annually by eligible Muslims. It purifies wealth and supports the poor.
Sadaqah is a voluntary charity given anytime, in any amount. It's a way to earn blessings and help others out of love and mercy.
Waqf is a long-term endowment used for public benefit. It could be land, buildings, or money — serving as ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah).
